After the NHL Owners did not like the offer that the NHLPA gave to them it looks like that the NHL is getting closer to a lockout. Do you remember the last time the NHL had a lockout? It was before the 2004-2005 season. The lockout was so bad that it looked like that the NHL was going to die. But finally a deal was reached. The NHL has grown a lot since that time, as its TV rating and fan exposure. If the NHL goes into another lockout could it really kill the league? They could lose a lot of fans to the NBA. Lets all hope they get a deal done.
